Cash Money
Static…the screen flashes over and over. Black and white flashes in and out over and over. Voices are being heard but cut in and over until finally…
Kevin turns and is met with a boot to the gut and now its Steele looking for his finisher but Kevin with a back body drop on Steele and Kevin falls on top of Steele for a count but the ref doesn’t even count one as Steele bridges up and spins Williams around but instead of going for the traditional backslide, he kicks Williams in the gut and nailing the LAST STAND!
Just like that the referee counts the three. Steele picks up another victory against Kevin Williams…Steele standing in celebration as the color turns back to black and white and then static returns to the screen….
Steven Steele climbs to the corner to thank all of his fans for support and out of nowhere TJ Raven with a steel chair right to Steele’s back! Steele crumbles to the corner and Raven pulls him out and nails Steele again with the chair over the head this time, splitting Steele’s head wide open. Raven follows it up by locking in the Talon on an unconscious Steele!
And in a flash TJ Raven takes advantage of a weakened Steele with a vicious chair shot. The last vision you see is Steele down in the ring…knocked out…static…fade to black…
…Unfinished Business…
Hundreds, thousands, twenties, tens, and fifty dollars begin to fall like a steady storm. They hit the ground and as they go dimes, nickels, and quarters act as ripples. Images flash in front of you quickly…visions of Paul Sterling and TJ Raven ripping on Steele. The last moments of Steele knocked out before TJ Raven stands in front of him and all you can hear is a leaking sounds are heard and in the background the fans cheering and laughing at these sights…
…The scene cuts out slowly with TJ Raven mocking Steele…
…The scene opens up inside of a local bank in Atlanta Georgia. Steele is sitting down in a black leather chair in his jeans, Atlanta Hawks T-Shirt, and a Nike ball cap. Steele is drinking a Pepsi and from the way he is relaxed he is waiting on someone. Steele takes another few drinks of his soda and then looks at the blue Pepsi can with a grin.
It’s just like you TJ. Well here recently that is. TJ your recent actions of surprise attacks with chairs, and your whining attitude hasn’t been seen since you with that one hit wonder Paul Sterling. TJ when you with him you took a low road and your career went on auto pilot. TJ you were a very successful mid carder and you made a great hardcore champion, but that is all you amounted to. However TJ when you broke away from Sterling and his mafia what happened? TJ tell me what happened?
You became a world champion. You beat Matt Thornhill and you became world champion. While your title run didn’t last more then having cup of coffee you still captured it. TJ you were at the top of your game then, but where are you now? You seem to be a man that has lost his way. TJ you are the CWR Gladiator Champion, and your are holding that belt like a chump. TJ you know for a fact that you have lost a few steps and your game isn’t where it was four years ago, but look around you TJ. Nobody is at the top of their game right now. Hell TJ, I know I’m not at my best right now and even more so since you took that chair shot at me. I have never seen you this desperate or then again maybe I am reading into it more then I should. Maybe it’s not the fact that you are afraid you are being out wrestled in every match, maybe it’s something else. Maybe TJ you will do anything it takes to retain your championship, OR maybe it’s because you just hate me…
…I think that is exactly what it boils down to. There is no real reason behind that chair shot other then you hate my guts. TJ in our careers, well early on that is you got your shots in. Hell you pissed in my mouth and I haven’t lived that motherf*cking day down yet. I am still reminded about what TJ Raven did to me, and that was in the early stages of my career.
Steele adjusts himself in his seat as he looks at the soda can again and takes a few more chugs. Steele wipes his mouth.
Nine years I have been wrestling. Nine long years and I have built a career that I can say I am proud of. I wouldn’t take a damn thing back. My faults, my f*ck ups, and my successes. While I am reminded about my screw ups more then my wins it doesn’t make a difference because I have danced with the best of them in that ring and I have lost and I have beaten the best. TJ the fans know me as a champion and I have the respect of the fans and my peers, and I am considered one of the best. I am very proud of that but you know something TJ I have never gotten the chance to thank you and I have never gotten the chance to put you in your place.
You see TJ you are considered one of the best. TJ you are a champion and you have won championships in all the promotions you’ve ever invested your time in because you have the skills and for sometime now I have wondered what would happen if you and I faced off against each other one more time and just see where we stand. TJ I found out really quickly what I can expect from you. Dirty wrestling and that is fine with me. TJ I can pull out the steel chair card any day of the week and I can use the ropes as leverage when I pin someone down for the three count, and I sure as hell can botch anymore I want just to hurt someone.
TJ Raven I fully expect you to push me to my limits and I fully expect you to try and break my bones or maybe even try to end my career. TJ you want to retain your Gladiator Championship and end me in the process and I can understand that. You and I have NEVER liked each other and just like I said before you hate me and the feeling is very mutual. So this is the anniversary show and you and I are in a match for your title. Reminds me of Electormania. Reminds me of all the great matches and main events…TJ did you ever win the CWF Title at a Electromania? Did you ever have a match worth remembering? I vaguely remember the fifth EM but just like my matches at EM…it’s all history.
The past stays in the past, but the future is what I am looking forward to. I plan on taking your Championship and just like I did with Kevin Williams I plan on finishing our little rivalry with a win. TJ for me this is coming full circle. I am getting to finish everything I ever started in the wrestling business and TJ Raven you and I have a lot of unfinished business but when Wrestleution is all said and done and I have your CWR Gladiator Championship…I’m done with you TJ. You will be just a speed bump in my career. So while right now you maybe a relevant issue, but very soon all you will be TJ Raven is an afterthought…
Steele stands up and drinks the rest of his Pepsi and then crushes the can. He drops it into a nearby garbage can where it belongs. Steele spits down into the can as well. Steele turns and looks at his watch. With a grin Steele exits the bank as the scene…fades to black.
